As a scholar in the field of aviation, I am interested in the multi-faceted and reciprocal effects that air transport and climate change have on each other. I focused my doctoral research on the impacts of climate change on aircraft takeoff performance at airports worldwide. I use the quantitative research method and the R statistical computing environment to explore large datasets of both aviation traffic and 21st century climate forecasts using CMIP6 models.
## Climate change at airports worldwide
An interactive dashboard which shows the amount of climate change expected at airports in the 21st century according to the latest generation of climate models. It allows you to pick any of the world's ~900 largest airports, choose one of four climate scenarios from most to least optimistic, and see how much change is predicted to happen in the air temperature, pressure, and humidity at that location up to the year 2100.

## The impacts of climate change on aircraft takeoff performance
My PhD in Aviation dissertation (defended in 2023, pending peer-reviewed journal publication) on how climate change will affect the near-surface environmental conditions that prevail at airports worldwide.
