## A/V logistics
- I use PowerPoint slides, sometimes with embedded videos; which requires at least one projector or large display. Please ensure that all the audience members, including those seated furthest back, can comfortably see the visuals. if available, a feedback monitor oriented toward the stage is helpful for me to track progress of the slides and animations as I speak.
- My slides and videos usually do not contain embedded audio and do not require an internet connection. I will let you know if speakers and wireless connectivity are needed.
- I can display the slides from my laptop or yours. If yoursd, please make sure to run the presentation at least once to ensure that it displays smoothly and that you have all the necessary video codecs installed.
- I prefer to use a remote clicker to control the slides. If you do not have one, I can bring my own.
- For a stand-up presentation, I prefer a lavalier (lapel) microphone over a handheld one so as to remain hands-free. Alternatively, I can use a fixed microphone if one is attached to a lectern, though I generally prefer to be mobile on stage. For a seated panel discussion, I am happy to use either a lavalier or a handheld mic.
- I will work with you to accommodate any particular configuration or need to make the event successful.
